This is Andy, and I identified themes a bit differently -- more based on actions:
1) A lot of people talked about learner focused conversations, based around questions that cause reflections about learning (what am I learning, where am I, where do I need to go, etc). A great focus -- we need more in depth conversations. Related to narrative or appreciative inquiry.
2) Finding ways for discussion and collaboration was also a theme -- many people talked about changing the intent of the staff meeting from "nuts and bolts" (important) to student learning. also some other structures. The overarching theme was teachers talking to teachers about learning. One of our best venues for ongoing professional development. Even the situation Stacey described is full of learning about where the staff is at, and the next steps.
3) Many people also are making links to other work, such as Damien Cooper, Ruth Sutton, AFL, Senge, etc. Indicates deeper thinking and connecting the themes we are all working on.
4) Lots of work going on related to school identity, from working on the school entrance to questions about "what do we want for our school?".
The theme of trust and relationship building was woven throughout.
